This was a recipe I came up with on my first fast day of testing the 5:2 diet.

It was good, I was pleased how it turned out. Tasty, healthy and filling. Approx. 238 calories. Defo easy to cook.


2 cups of frozen savoy cabbage

1 tbsn of Olive oil

1 tsp of chopped garlic

0.5 a cup of frozen onions

Salt and pepper to taste

Sprinkle of dried dill

40g of sliced smoked salmon chopped.


Fry vegetables and garlic in oil until cooked. Salt and pepper to taste. Plate veg and sprinkle with salmon. Dust with dill. Done.
