Happy Chinese New Year! To celebrate, I have taught myself to make a favourite Chinese dish which also isn’t too calorific.

Ingredients

Bowl of cooked chicken breast

Bowl of white onions

Bowl of bean sprouts

Bowl of egg noodles cooked

Two chopped spring onions

Tbsp of vegetable oil

1/4 tsp of salt

1 tbsp of light soya sauce

1 tbsp of dark soya sauce

Method

Heat oil on high in wok. Add onions and fry till beginning to yellow. I used tongs to mix ingredients but a spatula or chop sticks would work. Add chicken and fry for about 2 minutes. Add salt and stir fry for few minutes. Add noodles and stir fry for few minutes. Add bean sprouts and mix. Add soya sauces and mix. Taste for salt. Add spring onions and mix. Serve in noodle bowl.
