My toddler is obsessed with cakes and I can usually pass these off as cakes for breakfast without baking!


2 eggs

Milk desert spoon (or a splosh)

Brown sugar 2 tsp

Vanilla essence

Butter desert spoon

Pinch of cinnamon

2 slices of bread

Voulevant cutter 2.5 inch


Beat eggs, milk, 1 tsp of sugar, vanilla, cinnamon. Melt butter. Soak bread in egg mix on both sides. Fry bread sprinkling rest of sugar on both sides for a gentle crunch and caramelisation. Once golden brown flip onto plate and cut into “Fleur’s” with voulevant cutter.
