I went to University in Glasgow and lodged with a friend of the family who is second generation Italian – Zia Sandra. This was one of the delicious autumn dishes she would make. Comfort food at its best – Bravissimo!

Ingredients

Gnocchi

Bolognaise sauce

Parmesan

Red chilli flakes

Cheese & onion Focaccia

Butter

Method

Boil gnocchi as per instructions. After 2-3 minutes, drain, add to pot with bolognaise. Add some parmesan and a touch of red chilli flakes and mix. Plate up, add more parmesan. Toast some Focaccia, spread with butter and use to mob up your lovely sauce. Yum! Happy tummy time!
