A must have recipe for going into the cold months.

Ingredients

3 pints of chicken stock (ideally real bone stock)

Bowl of frozen onions

Bunch of fresh parsley

Bowl of cooked chicken

Four nests of angel hair (capellini) pasta broken up

Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Combine all ingredients in soup pot except for pasta and chicken. Bring to the boil and simmer for half an hour. Then add pasta and chicken. Simmer for 5 mins. Check seasoning. Done. Stick some in freezer for those days when you have invalids to feed.
