A versatile sauce for a pasta bake, potato bake, rice bake or lasagne. You can put the sauce together while cleaning up Sunday dinner. Refrigerate and use during the week.
3 cups of leftover chopped chicken
3 cups of leftover peas and carrots roughly mashed
1-2 cups of leftover gravy and chicken juices
2 spoons of chopped garlic
Cup of cooked spinach
Jar of white sauce
2 tsp of tarragon
Mix together and refrigerate or freeze for your chosen bake. Feel free to add cheese – gotta have cheese on a oven bake. I used 500g of Rigatoni with mine. Should get about 6 portions.
