I believe having a toxic free life is one step towards happiness. However, it can be difficult to achieve, as there are many toxic obstacles and pitfalls to avoid in life. These can be situations, people, behaviours, environments, habits or diets to name a few.

I have found it valuable to be aware of the toxic elements I come across in life. To consciously avoid, disengage and shield myself from them where possible. I do this by avoiding certain situations, places and people. I also mentally shield myself by focusing on positivity when around toxic influences.

I find ways to recover after exposure. I do this by getting out in nature, having a bath, listening to music, meditation, exercise, cooking, sleeping, having a smoothie or reading. Basically centering myself into a peaceful healing mode where I can refresh and wipe the toxic exposure away from my being.
